How to Understand & Play Zodium

Welcome to the Universe of Zodium!

Are you a tiger with a Scorpio horoscope? Is your friend a dragon with a Leo horoscope?

Zodiac Signs are created based on the ancient beliefs of animal and star signs by birth. Each astrological and animal sign has its inherent traits and qualities assigned.

By simply letting us know your date of birth, you can discover your zodiac signs and see what your inherent blessings are.

Zodiac Signs (Asian Animal Signs)

The animal zodiac sign is a term that symbolizes the inherent blessing of the year a person was born in 12 kinds of animalized creatures.

Accordingly, each zodiac animal year comes around every 12 years, and each year is associated with specific zodiac animals. What’s meaningful about the animal zodiac sign is that each animal has its unique personality and attribute.

This ancient belief has served as a fundamental framework in numerous aspects of old Asian lives.

The Card Packs (how to play)

One of Zodium's advantages is that it is easy to understand and play. From drawing the zodiac card packs to minting the characters, the entire process is easy yet fun! Below is our step-by-step guideline about how to play the Zodium card packs.

1. Draw Zodiac cards on the 'Draw Zodiac' Page

simply go to the 'Draw Zodiac' page on the official Zodium website

2. Connect Your Wallet & Put your Date of Birth to Discover your Soul Zodiac

using the MetaMask, connect your wallet for further steps.

3. Approve the Smart Contract

choose which wallet to use and approve the smart contract to draw zodiac

4. Decide How Many Packs to Open

now you are ready to open the card pack! On the screen, you should be able to see and choose how many card packs to draw. Currently, 100 ZODI equals 1 card pack, and there are three zodiac characters in 1 card pack.

5. Confirm Your Transaction

Once you have confirmed the number of packs to draw, you should see a modal window requesting to approve the transaction through the MetaMask. Now, submit the transaction and hit 'View On Etherscan' to see the status of your transaction.

6. Open your Zodiac Pack

Let's see what's in the pack! Click on the 'Draw Zodiac' button. You should see all 3 characters from the pack.

7. If You Don't Want to Sell, You can Also Upgrade Your Pack!

Zodiac character consists of four tiers: common, rare, legendary, and untouchable. If you collect six cards of the same tier, you will acquire one zodiac character of a higher tier. Go to the 'My Collection' and click on the 'Upgrade' button on the upper right to upgrade. Note that the upgrading process may cost a bit because it requires the process of recording using blockchain.

(Upgrading Rules)

Rule 1: To upgrade, you need 6 cards of the same tier.

Rule 2: (Upgrading 'Common' to 'Rare')

a) if you collect 6 "Common" cards of the same zodiac animals

= 70% chance to get 1 "Rare" card of the contained zodiac animal.

b) if you collect 6 "Common" cards of the different zodiac animals

= 30% chance to get 1 "Rare" card of the random zodiac animal.

(When You Fail the Upgrade)

c) if you collect 6 "Common" cards of the different zodiac animals

= 70% chance to get 1 "Common" card of the random zodiac animal. (You just lost 6 Common cards)

Rule 3: (Upgrading 'Rare' to 'Legendary')

a) if you collect 6 "Rare" cards of the same zodiac animals

= 50% chance to get 1 "Legendary" card of contained zodiac animal.

b) if you collect 6 "Rare" cards of the different zodiac animals

= 15% chance to get 1 "Legendary" card of the random zodiac animal.

(When You Fail the Upgrade)

c) if you collect 6 "Rare" cards of the different zodiac animals

= 85% chance to get 1 "Rare" card of the random zodiac animal. (You just lost 6 Rare cards)
